Amberley Collaborative organizer Meg Wallace completed a specialization in public dialogue strategies as part of her Master of Social Work degree (Baylor, 2018). She is certified as a public deliberation facilitator and has experience leading appreciative inquiry sessions and using nominal group technique to identify shared concerns and begin working toward solutions.
Board member Stephanie Hill is a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor and a trained NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Family 2 Family instructor and Sharing Hope speaker. With Meg Wallace, she facilitates the Waco NAMI Family and Caregiver Support Group (currently on hiatus).
The Amberley Collaborative and its expert partners can also conduct conflict resolution sessions and discussions to improve intercultural understanding. Partners offer workshops on topics such as parenting and mental health, trauma-informed children’s program leadership, and proactive inclusion of people with disabilities.
