Our website

The spare look of the Amberley Collaborative website is intentional. We want its content to be accessible to everyone in our community, including people who are blind or have low vision. Please let us know if you have trouble viewing or using any part of the website.

The landing page photo is an image of four young women in a circle of embrace. These women arrived in the United States as refugees from countries in eastern Africa, and they were embracing each other on the day of their baptism in Lake Michigan. The image conveys mutual care among members of a community, rather than the benefactor-recipient relationships that often come to mind when we think about helping.

Many thanks to photographer Michael Bracey for permission to use the photo on the landing page, to Will Suarez for the Amberley Collaborative logo, and to Jeffrey Cannon for web design.
